BOOKING

In case of confirmation of booking with M/s India Tour Express, one should keep the following in mind. A contract will be void between us only when we confirm your tour/travel services and have received the deposit amount from your end.

PAYMENT

In order to confirm the contract, a minimum deposit of 25% of the total cost is to be paid by you to M/s India Tour Express. The deposit is necessary to hold the booking on a confirmed basis.

BALANCE PAYMENT

The remaining payment should be made 15 days prior to the date of the start of services. Any booking made within 15 working days of the date of services is deemed as late booking, therefore full and final payment is required at the time of booking.

NOTE:

In case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (Festival season) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Even after a 25% advance payment, there might be some cases where you will be required to pay an additional advance amount before the final balance payment date depending on the contractor/supplier’s payment deadline.

MODE OF PAYMENT:

For international clients the following payment methods are available:

  • Online Credit Card Payment (American Express / Visa / Master Card / Discover / Diners Club).
  • Online Debit Card Payment (by Master / Visa / Maestro).
  • Offline Credit Card Payment (American Express / Visa / Master Card / Discover / Diners Club).
  • Bank / Telex Transfer to our Bank A/c.

NOTE:

  • Bank fees of 3% will be added on top of the total cost when paying with a credit or debit card.
  • All payments should be exempt from withholding tax and deduction.
  • Bank charges for remittance (whether by remitting bank or intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by the payer.

MUST READ

Please keep in mind that India Tour Express staff or agents will never ask for your Card Number, CVV, Net Banking login, Password, OTP, or similar information. We will also not request you to transfer payments to a personal account or install third-party software such as Any Desk, TeamViewer, and so on. Please do not comply with such requests.

POLICY REGARDING CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE:

Each tour has its own cancellation policy and it is given below on each tours description page. Cancellation will only work for those tours which do not have a cancellation policy on their description page. If case of availability of cancellation facility, all tours have a cancellation policy on their description page. If in case any tour does not have a cancellation policy on its details section then the given policy will be followed:

  • 60 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.

REFUND:

In the case of unused/unutilized services (which have been paid for and cancelled in advance), the reimbursement amount would be calculated using the cancellation procedure outlined above, and the money would be reimbursed to the person who made the payment to us. Please keep in mind that owing to banking regulations, the refund process may take 2 to 4 weeks. If the refund is issued to either a credit card or a bank account, the bank fees will be deducted from the return amount.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS:

It is mandatory for all guests (Foreign Nationals, NRI’s, and Indian Nationals) to provide a Photo ID at the time of booking confirmation. The documents listed below are appropriate for various categories:

  • For foreign nationals – a copy of a Passport + Visa is mandatory.
  • For Non-Resident Indians clients (NRI clients) – a copy of the passport.
  • For Overseas Indian clients holding OCI / PIO card – a copy of passport and a copy of the OCI/PIO card is mandatory.
  • For domestic clients – a copy of Driving License / Voter ID Card/passport is mandatory.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE POLICY:

Check-In Timings: 1200 – 1500 Hours

Early arrival is dependent on availability. Reservations for guaranteed early check-in must be made in the beginning of the preceding night.

Check-Out Timings: 1000 – 1200 Hours

Late check-outs are subject to availability and payment.

USAGE OF VEHICLE:

Please keep in mind that the cost of additional vehicle usage (cars/coaches with drivers) is not included in the services, and thus more vehicle usage after transfer or after completion of the tour is not permitted.

LIABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS:

Please do remember that after the tour/service pricing has been finalised, any hikes in monument/museum entrance fees, taxes, or fuel or guide charges imposed by the Government of India will be charged as additional.

India Tour Express rates are based on the current rates negotiated by us with hotels, airlines, and other service providers. Hotels and airlines reserve the right to change their pricing at any time. In the event of such a change, the rates quoted by us prior to the modification may be altered by us in accordance with the changes made by hotels or airlines.

India Tour Express and its affiliates act solely as agents for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors providing other services, and all exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by them. The tickets, coupons, or passage contract used by the carrier/hotel or other service providers should be the sole contract between the Clients and such service providers.

India Tour Express itineraries are sample itineraries designed to give you an idea of the typical vacation itinerary. Numerous circumstances, such as weather, road conditions, participant physical capacity, and so on, may result in itinerary adjustments before or during the tour. India Tour Express reserves the right to change any aspect of the itinerary, including transportation and lodging, without notice in the interest of the trip, participants' safety, comfort, and general well-being-without making any rebate, allowance, or refund, and any additional costs, if any, would be payable by the client.

India Tour Express shall not be liable for any delay or change in program, any expenses incurred, or any special/consequential loss, injury, or damage incurred - directly or indirectly - as a consequence of natural hazards, delays and cancellations, accidents, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transportation, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, acts of God, perils incident to the sea, floods, fire, acts of Government or any other authorities including wars, civil disturbances, Furthermore, the Clients will be accountable for any responsibility or additional expenses incurred as a result of the aforementioned causes.

India Tour Express shall not be liable to the Clients or his/her legal representatives for any loss of property or damages resulting from death or injury, including loss of services, which the Clients may sustain as a result of any act, negligence, or default by any transportation Company, hotel agents, or any other body of persons, its agents, or service providers providing such services or facilities, or arising out of or while en route. Clients who lease or rent athletic equipment, bicycles, sailing boats, or scuba diving equipment from hotels or rental companies do so at their own risk.

India Tour Express does not have insurance coverage that covers expenses for accidents, sickness, theft, or any other reason. Visitors are encouraged to obtain such insurance in their native country. All baggage and personal property are at the client's risk at all times.

India Tour Express reserves the right to cancel any services if it thinks that the tour, trip, or passage is unfeasible for any reason or if circumstances warrant such action, and the Client shall have no further or later claim against the firm as a result.

India Tour Express reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to carry out its contract with any person it deems undesirable, and it is not required to provide any explanation for doing so.

FORCE MAJEURE:

India Tour Express (company) and any of its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or suppliers, as well as their respective successors, heirs, and permitted assigns, shall not be liable for or deemed to be in default for, any failure to perform or delay in performing any of its obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, if such performance is rendered impracticable by the occurrence of acts of war, whether declared or undeclared caused under the control of India Tour Express.

India Tour Express does not have insurance coverage that covers both the India Tour Express (business) and the client (you)- both shall exercise their best efforts to avoid, overcome, and counteract the effects of any cause or possible cause of a Force Majeure event. When the cause of the Force Majeure is removed, the Terms and Conditions of Use set forth herein will resume full operation. A Force Majeure event, on the other hand, will not release India Tour Express (business) or the customer (you) from the commitments incurred prior to the occurrence of the Force Majeure.

JURISDICTION CLAUSE:

All issues resulting from this agreement or any later agreement will be resolved exclusively in Delhi courts.
